The Right Side
by Ramsés Dávila-Luna @ The Writer’s Cavern
Broken and fraught the countries lie to rot
When the two sides thought in left or right
In ravines the calves warred to find their spot
As the graying funneled their waters to sweep and mop
The clog adorns itself on tabletops
Brood lends its ears to fracture in fears
Infecting the harvest crops
To buy love when it only appeals
On the corner of picket you pocket the light with signs
Faults that shake harmony and ruin inner dialogue
Every tribe guards their stake in sense
Just to lose their home in the kingdom of feel
When angry flesh draws the lines
To divide their right sides
